We are involved in theoretical research on nucleic acids and proteins. The current focus is on protein and RNA sequence-structure-function relationships (in particular 3D modeling), large macromolecular complexes, and prediction of potential inhibitors of enzymes from different pathogens. We also develop biological databases gathering data about nucleic acids methabolism, RNA modifications and DNA repair pathays.
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the workshop "Structural Modeling for Large Macromolecular Complexes" (second edition), which will be held on 27-30.04.2015 in Oeiras, Portugal. The course will be conducted by our group members: Joanna Kasprzak and Mateusz Dobrychlop. Program and detailed description are available here.
The Structural Bioinformatics Lab is a sibling of the Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Protein Engineering (http://iimcb.genesilico.pl/).
